SGGS Angg 1248.
Raag Sarangh – Sarangh Ki Vaar M.4, pauri no. 29.
The pauri speaks of a humble Sikh who prays to be blessed with Darshan. The Satguru shows God is with him, and pervading the entire Cosmos.
The humble beggar pleads for this Gift. Lord, please bless me with Your Love; I thirst for Your Darshan. Only Your Darshan will give me true satisfaction.
“Manggat jann jache daan Har deho sobhaiye; Har Darshan ki pyaas hai Darshan triptaiye.”
I cannot live for a moment or even an instant without seeing Him. O mother, I would surely die without His Vision; the Satguru has shown me that He is with me, and is pervading all places.
“Khin palh ghari na jivaoo bin dekhay mraa maaye; Satgur naal dikhaliya rev rehiya sabh thaaye.”
Nanak says, He Himself awakens the (spiritually) asleep ones, and joins their consciousness with Himself.
“Sutiya Aap uthaal deh Nanak liv laaye.”

Bhai Ji further added on November 5, 2024:
The Gurus say at many places in SGGS Ji, that Gurbani must be continuously recited.
Besides reciting Bani, which is the beginning stage, the Gurus say, one should also experience Bani.
Bani will make you aware of your failings and past karmas.
We also have many passages saying we must get rass, an inner joy of reciting Bani.
Slowly, the Bani (Shabad) you recite, will bless you with love. You experience pangs of love and yearning for Darshan of the One Rameiya Hoya. This is an experience of bairaag/birha through Gurbani.
The highest experience through Bani (Shabad) is when Gur Parsad happens and you are blessed with Darshan.
“Tola dhar tolay sukh saggle bin Har Daras sabho hi thora.” (Ang 204).
In this Pauri 29 of Sarang Ki Vaar, Guru Ji describes a plea by a Sikh who begs to be drenched with Love for the Divine One.
“Manggat jann jaache daan Har deho subhai.”
The Sikh says, I thirst for His Darshan, only His Darshan will give me True Satisfaction.
“Har Darshan Ki Pyaas Hai Darshan Tripataiye.”
I cannot live without Him, even for a moment. It is a death upon me if I do not See Him.
“Khin pal ghari na jiwaoo bin dekhe mara mai.”
The Satguru (Shabad) shows the All Permeating and Pervading Lord has actually been with me always.
“Satgur naal dikhaliya Rev Rehiya Sabh Thaaye.”
He Himself awakens the Spiritually asleep ones. Nanak says He attaches their liv (consciousness) with Himself.
“Sutiya Aap uthaal deh Nanak liv laaiye.”
