SGGS Angg 539.

Raag Bihagara (Bihagda) M.4.

This Shantt has 4 padas. This is the 2nd pada. The jeev speaks to herself and says that the tongue is blessed which sings the Praises of the Lord.

“Sa rasna dhan dhan hai meri jindrhiye gunn gavhe Har Prabh kere Ram”

The ears are splendid and praiseworthy which listen to Kirtan of the Lord.

“Te sarvan bhale sobhneek hai meri jindrihye Har Kirtan sunay Har Tere Ram”

That head is pure and pious which falls at the Guru’s Feet. (Bani)

“So sees bhala pavitar paavan hai meri jindrhiye jo jaye laggay Gur Paire Ram”

Nanak is a sacrifice (eternally grateful) to the Guru who has enshrined the Lord’s Name in my heart.

“Gur vitho Nanak variaya meri jindrhiye jin Har Har Naam chiterey Ram”

Bhai Ji further elaborated on 19.12.25:

We are often told our body is a vehicle.

For the body vehicle to be called blessed, the Gurus say the various organs of this body vehicle must all be focused on Naam.
