Raag Suhi M.5
The Saints (Gurus) accept God’s Will as sweet, and flow in His Will. They become so empowered by God, that anyone who takes their Sanctuary, can get salvation and all their wishes fulfilled.
They are attached to God, and accept whatever God causes to happen; they fall at the Feet (Bani) of the Lord and receive respect wherever they go.
“Jo kich kare soyee Prabh maane oye Raam Naam rang raatey; tin ki sobha sabhni thaiyee jin Prabh ke Charan pratey.”
O Lord, there is none as great as the Saints (Gurus); the Saints are in harmony with God, who pervades the waters, lands and skies.
“Mere Raam Har Santa jevadh na koyee; bhagta bann aayi Prabh apne seyo jal thall mahiyal soyee.” (rahao).
In the Company of the Saints (Santsanggat), millions get saved, and the messenger of death cannot come near them; those who have been separated from the Lord for countless births are reunited with the Lord again (by the Saints/Gurus).
“Kot apradhi santsang udhray jamm ta ke nerh na aave; janam janam ka bichoriya hovay tin Har seyo aan milaave.”
Those who take their Sanctuary, the Saints (Gurus) cut off their attachment to maya, doubt and fear; whatever wishes one may have, are fulfilled by the Saints (Gurus).
“Maya moh bharam bhay kaatey Sant Sharan jo aave; jeha manorath kar aradhay so Santan te paave.”
How can I describe the glory of such humble servants who are pleasing to the Lord?; Nanak says, those who meet the True Guru (Shabad), become independent from all bondages.
“Jan ki mehma ketak barno jo Prabh apne bhaaney; kaho Nanak jin Satgur bhetiya se sabh te bhaye nikaaney.”
