Raag Suhi M.5

As the Sikh listens to Divine Advice from the Guru, he is gently led to bliss, joy, peace, and all successes.

In the 1st pada, Guru Ji Advises His Sikh. “Where the Glorious Praises of God are continually Sung; there is bliss, joy, happiness and peace.”

“Gunn Gopal Prabh Ke Nit Gaha; Anand Binodh Mangal Sukh Taha.”

Heeding that Advice, the Sikh urges his companions (satsangees), let us go and experience the bliss of being with the Lord; to do that we will have to fall at the Feet of the Holy Ones (Satguru).

“Chal Sakhiye Prabh Raavan Jaha; Sadh Janna Ki Charni Paaha.” (Rahao).

I pray to be blessed with humility; that itself will wash away the sins of countless lives.

“Kar Bentee Jan Dhur Bashaha; Janam Janam Ke Kilvikh Laaha.”

I dedicate/surrender my mind, body, breath of life, and soul to God; As I continuously remember Him in meditation, my pride and emotional attachment gets eroded.

“Mann Tann Pran Jio Arpaha; Har Simar Simar Maan Moh Kataaha.”

Lord, Please bless me with enthusiasm and effort to seek You; As Your Slave, In Your Sanctuary, Nanak Remains Absorbed in You.

“Deen Dyaal Karo Utsaha; Nanak Dass Har Sharan Samaaha.”
