I regularly receive daily Hukumnama from more than one source. Is it ok to read all of them?
Thank you.

It is indeed a major issue.

Ardas would have been done at the Gurdwaras where the Hukamnamas were taken.

So, when we receive the Shabad, it is to be regarded as a Hukamnama.

The problem arises when we receive from multiple sources. If it was just one Hukamnama, we can relate that Hukamnama to ourselves.

Relating to more than one Hukamnama can be a problem, especially as Guru Ji’s Hukams speak on an Infinite number of things.
One Shabad may stress the dangers of maya. Another Shabad may speak of the terrible effects of haumai, whilst another one may speak of gurmukhs who become jiwan mukat.

It is impossible to reconcile all the Hukamnamas and relate them to yourself.

A problem can easily arise. One prays for something to happen. He then sleeps thinking Guru Ji’s Hukamnama tomorrow will solve my problem. The Hukamnama you normally look at gives you an answer and you know your prayers have not been answered. It is natural to look at other Hukamnanas hoping for some positive answer amongst the other Hukamnamas.

Such a practice is wrong. You cannot go shopping for “positive” Hukamnamas just because you receive 4-5 or more Hukamnanas daily.

I suggest you stop all Hukamnamas except one. Treat that as a Hukamnama upon yourself.

Guru Ji’s Hukamnamas are sometimes called Vaak. Guru Ki says,

“Gur Vaak nirmal sada chanan nit Sach Tirath majna.” ( Ang 687).

Reading all Hukamnamas cannot ever be wrong. All Hukamnamas are Dhur Ki Bani.
Reading all hukamnamas is perfectly OK. It is relating them to yourself that becomes a real issue.
