SGGS Angg 273.

Raag Gauree – Astpadhi 8 of Sukhmani Sahib.

This is the final (8th) pada of Astpadhi 8. Guru Ji tells us about the God Enlighted Soul. It is hard to fathom the avastha of such a Blessed Soul. One way would be to accept all the Satgurus, Bhagats, Bhatt Sahibs and the Sikhs whose Bani is in SGGS Ji as Brahmgyanis, and SGGS Ji too.

As the God Enlighted Being has merged into God, He is just like the Creator Himself; And, just like God, He never dies, and lives forever; He becomes so empowered that He can bestow liberation, and unite the jeev with God; He becomes just as the Perfect Supreme Being who writes the destinies of all.

“Brahmgyani sabh shrist ka Karta; Brahmgyani sadh jiveh nahi marta; Brahmgyani mukat jugat jee ka Dataa; Brahmgyani Puran Purakh Bidhata.”

The God Enlightened Soul is the Master of the helpless (orphan); the God Enlightened Being extends His Hands over all.

“Brahmgyani anath ka naath; Brahmgyani ka sabh upar haath.”

The God Enlightened Soul owns the entire Creation; (although He may be in physical form, in essence), the God Enlightened Soul is the Formless Lord Himself.

“Brahmgyani ka saggal akaar; Brahmgyani Aap Nirankaar.”

The Glory of the God Conscious Being befits Him (suits Him, becomes Him); Nanak says, the Brahmgyani is Master of all.

“Brahmgyani ki sobha Brahmgyani banee; Nanak Brahmgyani sarab ka dhanni.”
