In the 23rd Astpadhi Guru Ji tells us of a Sikh who gets gyan anjjan (enlightenment) from the Guru.

In the 1st pada the Sikh is shown that everything including Naam (God) is within his own body.
“Nai nidh Amrit Prabh ka Naam; dehi meh iss ka bisraam”.

In the 2nd pada, Guru Ji tells us the Infinite Lord is inside us and outside as well.
“So antar so bahar anant; ghat ghat biaap rehiya Bhagvant”.

This is the 3rd pada of Astpadhi 23. Guru Ji says we should search for the One Lord through the Scriptures and His Kudrat.

“Bedh Puran Simrat me dekh; Sasiaar surr nakhitar me Ek.

God’s Bani speaks (applies) to all; He Himself is unwavering and never wavers.

“Bani Prabh ki sabh ko bolay; Aap adhol na kabhu dolay”

With absolute powers He conducts His Play; His virtues are beyond estimation and are invaluable.

“Sarab kalaa kar khelay khel; molh na paaiye guneh amolh”

In all light (creation), is His Divine Light; the Lord and Master supports the very fabric of the universe.

“Sarab jote me ja ki Jote; dhaar rehiyo Suami ote pote”

By Guru’s Grace all doubts and delusions are dispelled; Nanak says this faith is implanted firmly within me.

“Gur Parsad bharam ka naas; Nanak tin me eh bisaas”
