Raag Sorath – Bhagat Kabir Ji.

Bhagat Ji shares some experiences and gives advice to all of us.

What is the purpose of reading so much or studying so much?; what is the use of listening to the Vedas and Puranas?; what is the use of reading or listening?; if all these do not give you Celestial Peace.

“Kya parhiye kya gunihye; kya bedh purana suniye; parhe sunhe kya hoyee; jao sahaj na miliyo koyee”

The foolish mortal does not recite the Lord’s Name; what does he think of again and again?

” Har na Naam na japass gavaraa; kya sochay barung baara” (rahao).

In the darkness (of spiritual ignorance), we need a Light; to locate the Unfathomable Object.

“Andhuarey deepak chehiaye; Eik Basst Agochar lehiaye”

As I found the Unfathomable Object; my heart became illuminated and enlightened.

“Basst Agochar paiiye; Ghat Deepak rehiya samaaiye”

Says Kabir – now I have realization; and when I knew Him, my mind was pleased.

” Kaho Kabir ab janeeya; jab jaaneya tao mann maaneya”

My mind is at peace; yet the world does not seem convinced; if they are not convinced what can I do?

“Man maaney logh na patijay; na patijay tao kya keejay”
