Raag Gauree (Gauri) Kabir Ji.

Kabir tells us about Naam. Naam should be recited with optimism, faith, sincerity and love. Just as was done by Bhagat Prahlad and Dhru Bhagat.

“Ram japho ji aisey aisey; Dhru Prahlad japiyo Har jaisey”

In the rahao, Bhagat relates things to Himself and says O Lord Merciful to the weak, I have placed all my hopes in You; (with that faith), I have placed my entire family in Your Boat. (Boat here means Naam).

“Deen Dyal bharose Tere; sabh parvaar chadeya Berhe” (rahao).

Bhagat Ji then speaks of God’s nature. When it Pleases Him, then He makes us strictly observe His Hukam; then He takes the Boat across i.e. saves His sewaks.

“Ja Tis bhave ta Hukam manavhe; tis berhe ko paar langahve”

But this understanding did not come about by his own efforts. It was through Gur Parsad; with enlightenment his wanderings in reincarnation ceased.

“Gur Parsad aisee budh samanee; chuuk gayee firr aavan janee”

Kabir Ji advises. Meditate upon the Lord; Here and hereafter, He is the Only Giver.

“Kaho Kabir bhaj Sarangpani; urvaar paar sabh Eko Danee”
