Guru  Ji talks about Praises of God, His Saints and the blessings they receive.

To sing Your Praises is to follow Your Hukam, and seep into Your Will; that which Pleases You is True Spiritual Wisdom and meditation; only that is a True recitation which Pleases You. To be in harmony with Your Will is the Perfect Spiritual Wisdom.

“Sifat salahan Tera Hukam rajaiiye; so gyan dhyan jo Tudh bhayee; soyee jap jo Prabh Jio bhave Bhaney Pur Gyana Jio.”

He alone sings Your Praises who is Pleasing to Your Mind, O Lord and Master; You belong to the Saints and their minds are attuned to You, O Lord and Master.”

“Amrit Naam Tera soyee gavhe jo Sahib Tere Mann bhaave; Tu Santan ka Sant Tumare Sant Sahib mann manaa Jio.”

You Cherish and Nurture the Saints; the Saints sport with You O Sustainer of the World; Your Saints are very dear to You. You are the very breath of life of the Saints.

“Tu Santan ki kare Pritpalaa; Sant khelay Tum sang Gopalaa; Apne Sant Tudh khare pyarey Tu Santan ke pranaa Jio.”

My mind adores those Saints who know You and are Pleasing to Your Mind; in their company I have found a lasting Peace. Nanak is fulfilled with the Sublime Essence of the Lord.

“Unh Santan ke mera mann kurbaney; jin Tu jataa jo Tudh Mann Bhaaney; tin ke sang sada sukh payaa Har rass Nanak tripat aghaana Jio.”
