A jeev isteri is in deep bairaag. She yearns for Darshan and expresses her experiences.

I stand by the wayside, and daily ask of the Path towards Him. If anyone were to show me the Path, I would go on it; I follow in the footsteps of those who have enjoyed the love of their Beloved; I beg of them, I implore them, I have a deep desire to meet God.

“Hao panth dasayee nit kharhi koyee Prabh dassey tin jaao; jinni mera Pyara raaviya tin piche laag firaao; kar minnat kar jodhri mai Prabh milne ka chaao.”

O my dear friends will someone please Unite me with the Lord?; I am a sacrifice to the True Guru who showed the Lord to me.

“Mere bhai janna koyee mo ko Har Prabh melh milaaiye; hao Satgur vitho vaariya jin Har Prabh diya dikhaaiye.” (rahao).

In utter humility, I fall at the Feet of the Perfect True Guru; the Guru (Shabad), gives honor to the lowly and bestows glory .
I can never tire of praising my True Guru, who Unites me with the Lord.

“Hoye nimani dheh pavaa Puray Satgur paas; nimaaniya Gur maan hai Gur Satgur kare shabaas; hao Gur salahe na rajaau mai melhe Har Prabh paas.”

Everyone, all over the world yearns to meet the True Guru; you cannot get His Darshan without great destiny, the unfortunate ones just sit and wail; all things happen according to His Will, and none can erase His Writ.

“Satgur nu sabh ko lochda jeta jagat sabh koye; bin bhaga Darshan na thiye bhaagheen beh roye; jo Har Prabh bhana so thiya dhur likhiya na metay koye.”

He Himself is the Satgur (Shabad) and He Himself carries out the Union; as we obey the True Guru, in His Kindness, He Unites us with Himself; Nanak says, He is the Life of the entire world and (Union is seamless like) water blends into water.

“Aape Satgur Aap Har Aape melh milaiye; Aap Dya kar melhsi Gur Satgur pichay paaiye; sabh jagjivan jag Aap hai Nanak jalh jalhe sammaiye.”
