Raag Bilaaval M.5.

Guru Ji speaks of God’s Protective Nature.

As I entered the Sanctuary of the Lord, no hot winds (miseries, difficulties) can scorch me

“Taati vaoo na laageyi Parbrahm sharnaiye.”

The Lord has put a Protective Line around me and no pain afflicts me.

“Chaugird hamare Raam kaar dukh lagge na bhai.”

As I met the True Satguru, He arranged all my affairs.

“Satgur Pura bhetiya jin bannat baniye.”

(The Satguru) gave me the Medicine of the Lord’s Name and my consciousness is lovingly focused on the One Lord.

“Raam Naam aukhad diya eka liv laaiye” (Rahao).

The Lord has saved me and eradicated all my miseries.

“Rakh liye tin Rakhanhaar sabh byaad mitayee.”

Nanak says, The Master showered His Mercy upon me and gave me His help and support.

“Kaho Nanak kirpa bheyi Prabh bheye sahaiyee.”

Bhai Ji further elaborated on October 15, 2024:

In this Shabad, Guru Ji says when you enter His Sharan, He Protects you. No hot winds of distress and misery can scorch you.
This is expressed in many other Shabads too.

Guru Ji says He draws a circle of Protection on all four sides, and no difficulty can afflict the Sikh. This is just one of the Infinite Mystical Powers of Shabad Guru Ji.
“Chaugirdh hamare Raam Kaar dukh lagge na kaayi.”
