Raag Bilaaval (Bilawal) Bhagat Kabir Ji.

Kabir Ji tells us about the world. It is a Drama, and when the actors have played their roles, they have to leave. None can stay forever.

The world is a Drama, a Stage Play. None can stay here forever; walk on the straight Path (of His Hukam), otherwise you will receive a (shove) jolt.

“Aiso eh sansar pekhna rehan na kouu pehiye re; sudhe sudhe regh chalo tum natrr kodheka diveiye re.” (rahao).

(The word used is pekhna, not dekhna. Dekhna is to see. Pekhna means a stage play).

Brothers, (know that) infants, the young and the old, shall be taken away by the messenger of death; wretched man is like a mouse, and the cat of Death eats him up.

“Barey budhey taruney bheiya sabhu jamm le jeiyeh re; manas bapura mussa kinno meech bileiya kheiyeh re.”

There is no special consideration given to rich or poor; the king and his subjects are equally killed, such is the relentless power of death.

“Dhanvanta aur nirdhan manaeyi ta ki kachu na kaani re; raja parja sam kar marey aiso kaal badanee re.”

The servants of the Lord, who are pleasing to Him, their story is unique and rather different; they do not come and go, and they never die. They remain with the Supreme Lord, God.

“Har ke sewak jo Har bhaye tin ki katha niraree re; aave na jaaye na kabhu martey Parbrahm sangaree re.”

You must realise this in your soul, that you will have to leave your children, spouse, wealth and property; Kabir says, listen O Saints, strive to meet the Lord of the Universe.

“Putar kalatar lakshmi maya eihe tajho jee jaani re; kahat Kabir sunho re Santo milihey Sarangpani re.”
