Guru Ji tells us about the Saints of God. They are fearless, and have total reliance upon Nirankar.
Guru Ji is telling all of us, that we too must have total faith in Naam/Satguru Ji/Nirankar Ji, which are all in essence, One.
The Saints do not rely on any other (taggey, taveets, feng shui, devi devas, peers, ancestors, babas, sianey, sakats, tantrics, astrologers, palmists – the list of those who claim to be able to help you is endless); they live a Carefree life, ever in the Lord’s Love, confident that the Lord is on their side.
“Santan avar na kaahu jaani; beparvah sada rang Har ke ja ko paakh Suami.” (rahao).
Lord, Your canopy is so High, no one else has any power; the Saints receive eternal rule and these spiritually wise ones remain absorbed in His Love.
The word Samana is poetic rendition of Shamianaa or Chandoa, sign of Royalty, Sovereignty and Rule.
“Uchh Samana Thakur Tero avar na kahu taani; aiso amar miliyo bhagtan ko raach rahe rang gyaani.”
“Taani” comes from the root word “taan,” power, strength as it is used in Pauri no 3, Japji Sahib.
Disease, sorrow, pain, old age and death, do not approach such humble servants of the Lord; Nanak says, their minds are at peace, and they remain fearless, always immersed in the Lord.
“Rogh sogh dukh jraa mraa Har janne nahi niktanee; nirbhao hoye rahe liv Ekay Nanak Har mann maanee.”
