Raag Bilaaval (Bilawal) M.5
Guru Ji tells us about the amazing Shabad, which is in essence Nirankar Ji, Himself.
The Shabad of the Satguru is the Light of the Lamp; it dispels darkness from the body temple, and opens up the Incomparably Beautiful Chamber of Jewels.
“Satgur Shabad ujaro deepa; binseyo andhkaar teh mandar rattan kothree khulee anoopa.” (rahao).
As I saw (the Jewels – of Naam), I was wonderstruck and astonished; I am unable to describe the Glory and Grandeur; I am intoxicated and enraptured and the essence (Jewels – Naam) is wrapped warp and woof into my very fibre.
“Bisman bisam bhaye jao bhekhiyo kahan na jaye vadiaiyee; maggan bhaye uhaa sang mattey ote pote laptaiyee.”
No worldly entanglements or snares can trap me, and no trace of egotistical pride remains; You are the Highest of the High, no curtain separates us, I am Yours, and You are mine.
“Aal jaal nahi kachu janjaraa ahungbodh nahi bhora; uchann uchaa beech na kheecha hao Tera Tu mora.”
The One Creator Lord created the expanse of the Universe and He is Unlimited and Infinite; this One Lord pervades the entire Universe, He is Perfect and the Support of our breath of life.
“Ekankaar Ek pasaraa Ekay apar aparaa; Ek bisthiran Ek sampooran Ekay pran adharaa.”
He is most Immaculate of the Immaculate, Purest of the Pure, so Pure, so Pure; Nanak says, He has no end or limitation, always Boundless, Highest of the High.
“Nirmal Nirmal Sucha Sucho Sucha Sucho Sucha; Antt na Antta sada Beantaa kaho Nanak Ucho Ucha.”

The journey is deep within us.
Outside, there is the light of the sun, moon and other lights which enable to move about without stumbling.
As we close our eyes, we see nothing but darkness within us. As you close your eyes, recite His Name with love, the Guru in His Kindness, shows you many things. The ultimate is Darshan of Nirankar Ji, Himself.
“Tola dhar tolay sukh saggle bin Har Daras sabho hi thora.”
In this Shabad, Guru Ji says, the Guru’s Shabad is the Lamp (deepa) which provides Light (ujaro) as you go inwards Guided by the Guru.
“Satgur Shabad ujaro deepa.”
The Shabad Lamp dispels darkness from the body temple and opens up the beautiful chamber of Divine Jewels (Naam, Gunn).
“Binsio andhkar teh mandir rattan kothri khuli anoopa.”
